Significant Weather Event
After observing the weather warning issued by Environment Canada which indicates significant amounts of freezing rain tonight into tomorrow, the Municipality of Tweed is declaring a significant weather event in the municipality, as defined within the Minimum Maintenance Standards Regulation Ont. 239/02.
During the significant weather event, the Municipality is advising motorists and residents

Waste Management Changes
This change is a Provincial Government decision, not a decision that has been made by your Municipality. The Province has decided that commercial /institutional recycling is no longer the responsibility of the local Municipality. Please do not contact the Municipality regarding concerns about this change.
