COVID-19 has forced everyone to adapt to the challenges of quarantine and staying home to save lives. In addition to offering instrument loans via curbside pickup, the Stirling M.I.L.L. has been working to provide the public with quality, online, musical content. With live music being put on pause for the time being, this virtual drum clinic, is a great way to get up close, for a live super sonic, rhythmic demonstration by one of the best in the biz, Ottawa's own Chris Stephenson. Chris is a technically proficient, and accomplished hard rock/heavy metal drummer with a passion for rhythm in general. He is sponsored by Mapex drums, Meinl cymbals and Los Cabos sticks and has toured Canada and abroad with various acts such as Uli John Roth (Scorpions), Cauldron and Old James. Two of the albums he has performed on have been nominated for a Juno award and he was a finalist in the "shredders of metal" competition hosted by BangerTV.com He currently resides in his hometown of Ottawa where he is employed as a drum instructor and performer.
