Queensborough Bridge
The Public Works Department of The Municipality of Tweed, during some inspections of a few of our bridges noted that Queensborough Bridge has seen notable deterioration since the last inspections were completed. Due to this, the Municipality is issuing an immediate bridge load reduction
The previous load limits for the bridge; 11 tonnes, 16 tonnes, and 26 tonnes
New load limits will be 3 tonnes maximum.
We are working with our sign supplier and should have signs installed by end of day or by early morning.
These limits will remain in place until further notice.
