Ontario East Economic Development Commission

The Municipality of Tweed is a member of the Ontario East Economic Development Commission. This membership-based organization is focused on promoting Eastern Ontario as a vibrant center for investment.

Ontario East develops strategic partnerships with key organizations and stakeholders.  While also working to develop and implement marketing strategies in key, target sectors where Eastern Ontario has strengths in industry, research, innovation and technology.

The commission has been in operation for almost 25 years and is under the leadership and governance of a Board of Directors.
