Purpose of the Amendment

The Municipality of Tweed is updating its Zoning By-law to align with the Official Plan of Hastings County, which was updated in 2017 and approved in 2018. This amendment applies to the entire municipality.

Importance of Checking Your Property's Zoning

Amendments are proposed to our Zoning By-law to comply with the County's Official Plan in addition to Planning Act amendments. Property owners are encouraged to review the updated Zoning By-law to see if these changes affect their properties by attending the Open House June 12th or calling the Municipal Office.
