Bridge Open House
The Municipality of Tweed will be hosting a Municipal Bridge Drop In September 20th at 6:30 p.m. at Hungerford Hall.
Seven bridges for consideration of future closure include: Lost Channel Bridge (Lost
Channel Road), north and south Catons Bridges (Carrs Road), east and west Red Bridges (Black River Road), Ross Bridge (Bosley Road), and Joe Trudeau Bridge (Courneya Road near intersection with Allore Road). One of the considerations for closing these seven bridges is that the total cost would be $10,521,840.
We are seeking public input into the future of these bridges at the drop in.
