Art in the Park / Beef on a Bun Lunch - Tweed & Area Arts Council
The Tweed & Area Arts Council are pleased to again host 'Art in the Park' Saturday August 3 at Tweed Memorial Park! Art in the Park has free admission, and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: • More than 45 Artists & Artisans • Children’s Art Area • Live Music • Student Art Exhibit We are ‘keeping it local’ for lunch- the Arts Council is partnering with Palmateer’s Meats to serve delicious roast beef on a bun with coleslaw, water and a cookie from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eat in at the Pavilion, or take out…Tickets are $15, available at the Tweed News; get yours early to avoid disappointment! There may be a few tix available ‘day of’… A special addition this year is a tribute to the late Audrey Ross, local watercolour artist and long-time supporter of Art in the Park, being held in the Pavilion. It features a video interview with her earlier in 2024, a display of her art, and some paintings that will be offered for sale.
