The Tweed & Area Arts Council and the Heart of Hastings Hospice are excited about our partnership for a series of fundraising events: ‘Music with a Heart’. These shows provide affordable entertainment, while raising awareness and funds for our two organizations. The fourth and final show is 'A Celtic Christmas' with Seventh Town, an acoustic celtic/folk group based in Prince Edward County. The band features musicians Martin Smit on guitar and vocals, Trisha Elliott on vocals and tin and low whistles, Meghan Balogh on fiddle and vocals and Fraser Hardman on bass and vocals. Seventh Town was established in 2008 and since then has performed at a wide variety of events, including concerts, historic events, Irish ceili dances, wineries, festivals and private functions throughout eastern Ontario. A wonderful start to the holiday season...We look forward to working together on this initiative, and hope to see you at the MAC! $10 tix available at the Tweed News, Bush Furniture, at the door or on-line at Eventbrite https://tinyurl.com/Seventh-Town .
