The Tweed Kiwanis Pavilion turns 90 this year! Sat. Sept. 7, 1 to 4:30 p.m. FREE Afternoon of Memories & Fun for All Ages Including: -1:00 – 1:40 p.m.: -Opening remarks by Kiwanis Club of Tweed, Mayor Joanne Albert, with Emcee Wendell White -‘History of the Pavilion’ by Evan Morton 1:40 p.m. Cake Cutting Ceremony 1:45 p.m. Video history/memories – Municipality of Tweed 2:00 – 4 p.m. Music from the decades by DJ Ted Leveck 2:30 – 4 p.m. Family-oriented fun and games! 4:00 p.m. A surprise performance by Tweed & Co. Theatre! Bring a picnic, or enjoy Duffer’s Food Truck fare Cash bar all afternoon Later on Saturday: - Boat Flotilla Sail Past the Pavilion 6:30 p.m. – Contact 613.478.3243 to join in! Sat.
