Erin Palmateer Community Pool The community pool offers programs and family fun throughout the summer months, including; Aquafit, open family swims, registered lessons, camps for kids 5-13, Canada Day family activities, Civic Holiday family activities, and pool rentals. The pool was opened to the community on June 1, 2010 after five years of community fundraising efforts in memory of the late 'Erin Palmateer' a local girl who taught swimming lessons to youth in Tweed out of her family pool. During summer months the pool is operated by the YMCA of Central East Ontario. The pool committee continue to oversee operation and fundraising. |
