Tweed Waste Water Treatment System - Environmental Assesssment



DELEGATIONS AT COUNCIL MEETINGS

Any person, group or organization wishing to address Council shall notify the Clerk, in writing, during regular business hours. The notice must specify clearly the business to be presented, who the spokesperson will be, and the date of the meeting at which the delegation wishes to be heard.

The notice must be received by the Clerk no later than the end of the business day three working days immediately preceding the day of the meeting. For example, for a Tuesday evening meeting, the notice must be received by the end of the day on the previous Thursday.

Every delegation must provide, with their notice, a detailed summary of the information they wish to share with Council. This summary should be received no later than the end of the business day three working days immediately preceding the day of the meeting.

A delegation may address Council for a period not exceeding ten minutes during any meeting. Additional time may be provided at the discretion of the Chair. The Chair may invite questions from a delegation making a presentation to Council.
