NOTICE TO VILLAGE OF TWEED WATER & SEWER CUSTOMERS
A reminder to Village of Tweed water and sewer customers that By-Law No. 2005-51 provides for a 5% one time penalty charge to be applied to all accounts with an outstanding balance from the most recent quarterly billing and 2% interest per month to be applied to all accounts with unpaid water and sewer charges. Prompt payment is encouraged to avoid these additonal charges.
Also, a reminder to Village of Tweed property owners with tenants occupying their property that By-Law No. 2005-51 provides that all water and sewer accounts will be billed in the name of the owner of the property to which services apply. Existing tenant accounts at the time of the passing of the by-law will remain in the tenant’s name until such time as the tenant vacates the property, at which time the account will be placed in the name of the property owner.
